Compensation: $150,000-$200,000

Client Overview: Vernovis is partnering with a high growth construction firm that expanding its accounting leadership to help manage a high volume of new projects and large YoY increases in revenue.

What You'll Do:
Lead accounting GL and project accounting divisions with month-end close, percentage of completion projects, and monthly WIP (work-in progress schedule)
Create and present financial reports to CFO and executive leadership team for multiple locations
Manage multiple M&A projects per year, working closely with CFO and business operation units
Help build and maintain GL, project accounting, and M&A teams as the main hiring manager for these units
What Experience You'll Have:
7+ years accounting experience as a either a director of accounting, assistant controller, or controller of mid-large companies with high growth activity.
OR: Manager or Sr Manager in a public accounting firm that worked closely with construction or manufacturing clients
Experience with project accounting, percentage of completion and WIP accounting
