Job Title: Internal Auditor

Vernovis partnering with an established Cincinnati company that is looking to revamp it's Internal Audit team.

What You'll Do:
- Conduct assigned audit projects including audit planning, process walkthroughs, risk assessment, audit program development, test work, audit report issuance, and project wrap-up.
- Assist in the annual SOX 404 evaluation by maintaining process documentation, walkthroughs, ensure controls are operating effectively.
- Ongoing oversight, guidance, and training on SOX and internal control procedures to business process owners.
- Document assessment and test results.
- Accurately prepare written audit findings/issues.
- Present and confirm audit findings/issues.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly Audit Committee / Board of Directors materials and deliverables.
What Experience You'll Have:
- Degree with a business concentration and 3-5 years experience.
- An understanding of core business processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management, and Revenue.
- The ability to travel overnight -10% travel
- JD Edwards and/or Sage experience is a plus
