Vernovis is looking for a Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst who is experienced implementing or restructuring a Master Data Management program. Successful candidates will be experienced leading an Agile team from requirements gathering, creating business cases, and documenting the entire MDM process.
 
What You'll Do:

  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business solutions and business requirements:
    • Analyzes, identifies, and writes detailed description of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications or components.
    • Makes recommendations for business process improvements with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the technology needs.
    • Prepares analysis for production support of applications and associated documentation.
    • Acts as a liaison between the business and IT.
    • Develops and maintains knowledge of business processes.
  • Understanding of data MDM concepts (Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Integration, Data Quality, Data stewardship, Data Hierarchy, Data Lifecycle Management, etc.)
  • Partner with stakeholders to get buy-in on, develop, and implement our client’s data management standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Gather requirements for any technology needed to sustainably implement data management standards; partner with the business and IT teams to drive development.
  • Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
  • Assists with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient:
    • Develops test plans and may execute tests.
  • Maintains and develops business knowledge and customer relationships.
  • Interviews end users to determine requirements for data, reports and analyses, training, data quality, and performance.  Has mastered use of standard reporting tools and databases.
    • Good knowledge of business information data sources and business data rules.

What You'll Have:
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience (Required)
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, communicating in a technical and non-technical manner with Business Customers
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize & plan work to satisfy established timeframes
  • Experience with a Data Centric program.
  • Experience with Data Warehouses and Master Data Management
