Client Overview: Vernovis is partnering with a renowned and highly successful local Real Estate company to seek a Property Controller who will join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of a portfolio of Residential Properties, ensuring that Property Managers and Owners have access to accurate and timely financial information.

What You'll Do:
Conduct monthly review and analysis of the balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements on a portfolio of properties.
Prepare variance analysis reports for each month, prepare annual budgets for all properties in their portfolio, and complete budgets.
Assesses, grants approval for, and ensures the on-time settlement of mortgage and real estate tax payments.
Reviews Cash Accounts and Inter Company Accounts routinely and supplies information regarding funding to Owners. Ensures cash is available for operational needs.
Assists Property Managers and Owners by analyzing financial data.
Records new loans and refinancing transactions, provides lenders with necessary financial statements, evaluates escrow balances, and submits the required paperwork for reimbursement.
What Experience You'll Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to provide innovative solutions to challenges and procedure updates
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
What Experience is Nice to Have:
Entrata or MRI software experience
Real estate or Residential experience preferred
