Accounting Plant Controller

Vernovis is looking for an Accounting Plant Controller for a multi-generational family-owned industrial manufacturer.
As an experienced controller, the candidate will be ready to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by leading a AR/AP team, engaging in actual costing, and inventory accounting.
What You'll Do:
- Month-end close, preparation and analysis of financial statements
- GL, create and process journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Income statement reconciliation
- Supervising AR, AP, payroll teams
- Assist in admin of employee benefit plans
- Assist in maintenance of fixed asset records
- Coordinate activities with external CPA firms, lending groups
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- Minimum 4-10 years previous work experience in industry accounting and / or public accounting
- Managing AR/AP/payroll
- Actual Costing
- Inventory experience
- Industrial manufacturing is preferred but not required
- 15% retirement contribution after year 2 (does not require any 401k contribution)
- Annual bonus based on company performance, $5k-$20k
