What You'll Do:
- Lead accounting GL and project accounting divisions with month-end close, percentage of completion projects, and monthly WIP (work-in progress schedule)
- Create and present financial reports to CFO and executive leadership team for multiple locations
- Manage multiple M&A projects per year, working closely with CFO and business operation units
- Help build and maintain GL, project accounting, and M&A teams as the main hiring manager for these units
What Experience You'll Have:
- 7+ years accounting experience as a either a director of accounting, assistant controller, or controller of mid-large companies with high growth activity.
- OR: Manager or Sr Manager in a public accounting firm that worked closely with construction or manufacturing clients
- Experience with project accounting, percentage of completion and WIP accounting
- Experience navigating mergers and acquisitions
What Experience is Nice to Have:
- CPA
- Big 4 or large public accounting experience
