Location/ Work Structure: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid)
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000

Client Overview:
Vernovis is collaborating with a prominent multi-million dollar technical expertise provider to seek a Financial Planning and Analyst Manager based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This individual will play a vital role in evolving and transforming the Financial Planning & Analysis function within the company. The ideal candidate should have substantial hands-on experience, preferably 1-2 years, in both Power BI and SQL, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and further develop their skills in these tools.

 What You'll Do:

  • Enhance and develop FP&A processes and reporting systems through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide insights into financial performance and trends using strong analytical capabilities.
  • Design and create Power BI dashboards and reports for effective visualization of financial data.
  • Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable reports and analyses.
  • Utilize SQL skills to extract, transform, and load data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and upkeep complex financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance efficiency and accuracy by streamlining and automating financial processes through Power Automate.

What Experience You'll Have:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Background in Operations Finance or FP&A, with a focus on reporting and financial data.
  • Ability to read an financial statements and connect work to its impact on the company.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and 1-2 years of experience in Power BI and SQL.

What Experience is Nice to Have:
  • Experience in a branch-based products or services company.
  • Familiarity with life sciences companies and comfort with science-related terminology.
  • Previous involvement in a company that has undergone growth or integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
