Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000

Client Overview:
Vernovis is collaborating with a prominent multi-million dollar technical expertise provider to seek a Financial Planning and Analyst Manager based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This individual will play a vital role in evolving and transforming the Financial Planning & Analysis function within the company. The ideal candidate should have substantial hands-on experience, preferably 1-2 years, in both Power BI and SQL, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and further develop their skills in these tools.

What You'll Do:
- Enhance and develop FP&A processes and reporting systems through cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide insights into financial performance and trends using strong analytical capabilities.
- Design and create Power BI dashboards and reports for effective visualization of financial data.
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable reports and analyses.
- Utilize SQL skills to extract, transform, and load data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and upkeep complex financial models that support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
- Enhance efficiency and accuracy by streamlining and automating financial processes through Power Automate.
What Experience You'll Have:
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Background in Operations Finance or FP&A, with a focus on reporting and financial data.
- Ability to read an financial statements and connect work to its impact on the company.
- Proficient in MS Excel and 1-2 years of experience in Power BI and SQL.
What Experience is Nice to Have:
- Experience in a branch-based products or services company.
- Familiarity with life sciences companies and comfort with science-related terminology.
- Previous involvement in a company that has undergone growth or integration.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
