Job Title: Level 2 Service Desk Resource
Location: Stafford, VA (Onsite)
Compensation: 20-25 hourly (6 month contract to hire)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Phone and Team Support: Respond to incoming calls from team members seeking technical assistance. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technology-related issues.
  • PC Support: Engage in PC-related tasks such as building and upgrading machines. Ensure hardware and software configurations align with the organization's requirements.
  • General Technical Assistance: Provide support for various technological needs, including copier maintenance, new cell phone setups, and user troubleshooting.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Help Desk Experience: Previous experience working at a help desk or technical support role is essential.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively assisting users and collaborating with team members.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A customer-centric mindset and a willingness to go above and beyond to help users resolve their issues.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices is important for maintaining efficient IT operations.
  • PC Support: Experience in building and upgrading machines, as well as resolving hardware and software-related issues in a Windows environment.
  • Windows Expertise: Proficiency in Windows 10, O365, and familiarity with security patching and updates.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to ask pertinent questions and think critically to identify and resolve issues without making assumptions.
  • Professionalism: Ability to interact with executive-level employees and handle their technology needs with tact and professionalism.

Education:
    • A degree is not required for this role, but relevant certifications or training in IT-related fields would be beneficial.
