Client Overview: Vernovis is partnering with a small but fast-growing public healthcare company to help build out a new internal audit team. There will be 4 members when fully staffed. There is a small possibility of light travel in this very flexible hybrid work setting.
General understanding of compliance with IIA audit standards
ITGC Experience
Financial Process Audit experience
SOX walkthroughs and testing in accordance with the Company’s frameworks
Audit programs to test effectiveness of key controls using a variety of approaches
Maintain open communication with audit management and process owners
Obtain, analyze, and evaluate necessary accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
What Experience You'll Have:
IT General Controls experience is a big plus
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal Audit or public accounting
Knowledge of all applicable auditing standards and procedures, etc.
CPA or CIA preferred
