Job Title: Tax Accountant

Vernovis is looking for a Tax Accountant for an established residential manufacturing company in the Cincinnati area.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and file personal property taxes, unclaimed property reports, and business licenses
- Prepare monthly use tax accruals for review
- Analyze personal property tax assessments and pay property tax bills
- Setup and maintain valid sales tax exemption certificates in Vertex sales tax software
- Assist tax manager on gathering information requested by auditors and conducting tax research
- Providing company support by answering tax department emails regarding sales and use taxes relating to customer sales orders
- Assist tax manager in ad hoc projects as they arise
1-3 years of hands on tax experience
4 year degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience working on tax projects/research
At least one of the following (the rest can be taught):
